The temple called "Seetha Kovil" (Hanuman Kovil) is located in the village Seetha Eliya near Nuwara Eliya /Sri Lanka/. The area is related to the Ramayana story in Hinduism. Folklore says that the mighty king Ravana kidnapped princess Seeta who was the queen of Rama and hid her in the place where the temple now is.

What an amazing structure! Beautiful shot! Do you know if the colors on the temple original and just kept up or have they been restored by the Sri Lankan government?
